Thank you for visiting our website! For six years following the extensive damage caused by the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquakes, various symbols of Kumamoto University (the Memorial Museum of the Fifth High School, the Chemical Laboratory, the Museum of Engineering Faculty, and the Main Gate) have undergone extensive repairs that were finally completed in March 2022. We ask for your continued understanding and support as Kumamoto University plans various activities that will center around these important cultural properties.
